The lessons will be done entirely during the second semester: 5 theoretical lessons of 4h each, just before Easter, and 5 interactive labs for preparing the project, after Easter.

This course assumes that students have already acquired some basic knowledge during their three-years degree, and in particular:

If necessary, students who are not already in possession of this basic knowledge can integrate their cultural background by using the teaching material (slides, handouts, video recording of the lessons) taken from the web page of the Environmental Technical Physics course held over the past years:


Theoretical background - 2nd semester

5 "workshops" of 4h each are planned, in March-April 2022 (before Easter)

An anticipation of the contents of these lessons can be obtained looking at the web page of this course hold during the pervious academic year 2020/21.

Exam Project (Laboratory) - 2nd Semester
The activity carried out in the first part of the course is aimed at developing a project, to be carried out during the second part (after Easter 2022), which is assigned to groups of 2 students, and which constitutes during he main activity carried out in this phase.
Students are entrusted with the drafting of a urban planning project related in an urban context with high population density, for which they will have to produce the technical documentation required by the current regulatory framework, and more specifically the following two documents:

At each lesson, some students present the progress of their project and the whole class interacts providing suggestions and criticisms. 5 interactive labs of 4h each are planned, for a total of 20 hours.

The final aim of the laboratory is the production of two chapters (acoustics, lighting) of the A3 book, which will form the basis of evaluation.
