This folder contains a set of MIMO impulse responses measured in Sala dei Concerti of Casa della Musica in Parma, ITALY, on 13 februray 2020. The equipment and measurement method are described in this paper: http://www.angelofarina.it/Public/Papers/280-AES-2016.pdf We also made panoramic equirectangular photos, one in each source position (L,C,R) and one in each microphone position (1,2,3). The RAW (A-format) matrices of impulse responses were 32x32, but here we report only the processed (beamformed) matrices, featuring Ambisonics AMBIX impulse responses of order 3 and 1. The Order 3 matrix, hence, is 16x16, in ACN-SN3D format both for the source (columns) and for the microphone (rows). In practice, each matrix is a 16-channels WAV file, each channel is an output (microphone) channel. The 16 source channels (virtual loudspeakers) were stimulated one after the other, hence they are stacked temporally one after the other. We also provide a simpler 1st order matrix, which is 4x4, with the same structure (channels are output signals from the microphones, and the 4 source channels are one after the other). These filter matrices are in a format suitable to be used "as is" in the three most famous matrix convolver plugins, which are X-volver by Angelo Farina, MCFX Convolver by Mathias Kronlachner, and the recent Sparta MatrixConv by Leo Mccormack. More info on them here: http://www.angelofarina.it/X-volver.htm http://www.matthiaskronlachner.com/?p=1910 http://research.spa.aalto.fi/projects/sparta_vsts/plugins.html Finally we provide drawings (in PDF and DWG format) showing the position of the 3 sources and of the 3 microphones.
