Greetings,

since you are the specialists on B-format I wanted to share a short sample of a new B-format microphone I've built. This is in fact the very first recording ever done with it. What I'm especially interested is how it sounds a 3-D setup, since I haven't had the possibility to build anything like that myself. You can download the files (16-bit 48kHz) here:

The operating principle of the microphone is quite different from the Soundfield. The quality seems somewhat better on later recordings with a better microphone pre-amplifier, I'd be delighted to share some more samples if you are interested.
